Eversince I wrote the How To on Choosing an Email Client for the Mobile Device, I have recieved a number of emails. Given the interest in the topic, I decided to write a complete introduction to email clients for the mobile device.

Corporate vs. Direct to Consumer

Most of these are corporate solutions. Your service provider chooses the email solution for its subscribers. Its important to know what options your service provider has while deciding an email solution for you. Given the data rates that some of us have to pay, we may want more worth for our money.

Other solutions are email clients that you can download from the vendor's website and start reading/writing emails.
